Andreas Vogiatzakis

Born and raised in rural Crete, Andreas quit the prestigious Mathematics University of Athens to pursue his passion for Advertising at the University of Florida. He started his career at DMB&B NY and JWT Greece – before Asia. In 1997 he launched and managed MediaVest Japan and moved to Taiwan in 2003 as CEO, MindShare Group. He moved to Malaysia in 2006 to lead the Omnicom Media Group (OMD & PHD) and transformed it to be an award winning formidable force. On August 2016, he became the CEO of the newly formed Havas Media Group Malaysia. Andreas has conducted high-powered learning sessions for many universities and the industry, has served as president or council member on industry associations and committees (MSA, MDA, JIC). He is an active Certified Professional Coach, a Certified NLP practitioner and the recipient of several industry awards and accolades.

Chan Meng Yang

Meng Yang is responsible for planning, developing and monitoring consumer and customer programmes to make Mamee a top FMCG company in Malaysia and across the region. In Mamee, Meng Yang has overseen various product launches and campaigns that has challenged category conventions such as Mister Potato Sweet Potato, Mamee Chef and Mamee Monster Biskidz. Together with his team, they have also introduced flavour innovations such as Mister Potato Fiery Fried Chicken, Mister Potato Spicy Prawn, Mamee Monster Hot and Spicy, Mamee Chef Lontong and many more SKUs. Meng Yang and his team has also won various awards such as Malaysia Media Awards Gold for Mamee Chef and also Gold for Mamee Monster Biskidz Campaign. Prior to Mamee, Meng Yang was the General Manager for Homecare and Foods in Unilever. In his previous role Meng Yang was responsible for launching Magnum in Malaysia and establishing it as one of the top consumer brands in Malaysia. He was also a past Gold Effie winner for ‘Magnum Enjoy the Royal Treatment Campaign’ and Bronze Effie Winner for Cornetto. During his time in Unilever, he was awarded the Chairman’s Award, Director’s Award and also the Compass Award for his achievements. He had also won numerous other industry awards including PMAA and MARKies amongst others. Meng Yang believes in creating consumer campaigns that are differentiated and also deep rooted in consumer insights. He has more than 10 years’ experience in the FMCG industry covering various categories and across Malaysia and Singapore. Apart from the above personal achievements, he also strongly believes in developing people potential in the industry.

Kua’s experience in marketing, sales and senior management was gathered through 19 years of working with AC Nielsen, Gillette and L'Oreal. He joined Gillette as Product Manager in 1994 and held various positions in Sales and Marketing before heading the company as Country Manager from 2003 to 2006. He then moved to L'Oreal Malaysia as Deputy GM to launch Garnier in 2007. After a successful launch, he took up a new challenge as Head of Sales to make L'Oreal Paris, Maybelline and Garnier brands much bigger mass players. Promoted to GM in 2009, Kua managed a double-digit consumer sell-out growth amidst the 2009 economic challenge. He now devotes his time to elevating the talent of potential and experienced brand marketers in Malaysia.
